How it Began
Like a lot of good ideas, Fawn & Nightingale didn't happen overnight.
Hi, I'm Cynthia. I'm the designer behind Fawn & Nightingale. When I discovered surface pattern design I completely fell in love with creating patterns. Before long, I started looking at pillows, notepads, and home décor a little differently.
I kept finding things I almost loved. The product was perfect, but the colors weren't quite me. Or I'd love the colors, but not the pattern. I wanted a different aesthetic: cozy, inviting, and timeless.
That's when I decided I would create them myself and began on this journey.
Today, every pattern starts as original artwork before finding its way onto pillows, stationery, accessories, and other everyday pieces. I create pieces I genuinely enjoy using in my own home, and I hope they'll become favorites in yours, too.

Behind the Name
The name Fawn & Nightingale is rooted in something deeply personal. It was inspired by our beloved fawn Doberman, Kylo, who was by my side during the early stages of the brand. His calm loyalty and gentle nature left a forever imprint in our hearts.
"Fawn" represents his color, warmth, and devotion.
"Nightingale" represents a quieter kind of beauty, resilience, and creativity after loss.
Together, the name captures a perfect balance of softness and strength.
